Our Services

We offer three levels of design service, and work on a variety of projects and budgets. Please fill out our inquiry form indicating which service you are most interested in.

Full Service

This service is tailored to clients who are building a new home or renovating an existing home. Full service design typically includes everything from architectural finishes to accessories, and is suitable for full or partial home renovations, and full home furnishing projects. We’ll work with you to identify the scope of work, set realistic expectations around your timeline and budget, and identify the team needed to complete your project. We conceptualize the design of your home, provide all required drawings and documentation, and source and procure all furniture, finishes and decor. We work closely with your architect and contractor, and are on site frequently during construction to ensure the design is implemented as intended and completed on time. This is a white-glove offering with the option to receive move-in ready concierge services and finishing touches, such as professional organizing services and stocking the kitchen pantry to your liking!

All-In Project Minimum: Starting at $400,000

Design Light

Tailored to clients who prefer to prioritize design and merchandise, over project management, this service is best for projects with minimal construction and smaller scopes of work. Design Light is different from full service design in that clients are responsible for overseeing work and communication with all trades involved in the project (painters, wallpaper installers, window treatment installers, contractors, and more).  We set you up for success by providing all of the documentation and resources that your trades will need to implement our design. Similar to full service design, this service includes a site survey (when needed), full design and procurement services, culminating in a single or multi-day installation. This service is most popular with clients who are mainly seeking furnishings and decor.

Starting All-In Budget: $150,000

Design Day

This service works best for projects with limited construction, and is tailored to clients looking for help designing a couple of rooms, and for clients seeking assistance selecting finishes for a construction project. We send an intake questionnaire, and a list of deliverables that we need from you so that we can get started. The design day kicks off with a virtual meeting, and from there we devote one entire day to designing the space of your dreams, helping you select materials, lighting, furniture, and more. At the end of our design day, you walk away with a full design plan conveyed in a PDF. This may include specific product recommendations and links, vendor recommendations, design concept sketches, and furniture layouts. We can source everything from decorative lighting to bathroom finishes, kitchen cabinet paint colors and style, furniture and more.

Fixed Fee for Design Day Service: $2,500

"We have used the interior designers at Lorla multiple times for a variety of projects around our home, some small, some much larger. Laura from the start was professional and very obviously an expert in her craft. People constantly compliment us on the areas of our home that Laura has helped us design. We will continue to use them for any and all design needs in the future and have referred many friends to her! You won’t be sorry you chose Lorla for your home in Washington."
